Educated at Christchurch College, Canterbury, Shaun has experience of uniformed, covert and armed security operations in both the private and public sectors.

He is knowledgeable on matters of law enforcement and the malpractices that concern and affect people today. Through his current work with young offenders, Shaun is constantly updating and reviewing his practice in these areas.

He is experienced in motivational interviewing, with service gained through the DWPs New Deal programme and also through providing a resettlement service to young offenders returning to the community from custodial sentence. As holder of the CIEH Advanced Practitioner certification in Food Hygiene, he is able to deliver accredited training in this field.

Shaun has also recently gained his Adult Numeracy Subject Specialist qualification.

Shaun spends his leisure time in the gym, playing Golf and Cricket and "blogging".

Pete is currently a 6th Dan Black belt and has twice been inducted into the British Combat Hall of Fame. He is also the Deputy Chairman of the British Traditional Shotokan Karate Association .

Pete provides martial arts knowledge and is responsible for the ‘Breakaway’ training aspect within the Personal Safety and Awareness training course. Pete has experience of teaching children and specific self-defence courses for ladies. As a recent first time father, Pete no longer has any leisure time!

Rob is an adult Maths subject specialist with vast experience in raising numeracy standards with challenging students.
