Sensitive Security Group was formed in 2004 to provide a service to Housing Associations and Local Authorities working with troubled and disadvantaged young people. Initial contracts were with the Stonham and Twynham Housing Associations, providing cover at their more turbulent hostels. Our role was to engage with the clientele in order to reduce offending and anti-social behaviour, such as violence and alcohol / substance abuse related issues. During the contract period, incidents requiring Police attendance or leading to public complaint were reduced by over 50%.
Having gained adult teaching / training certification, the company is now focussing on providing Motivational Interviewing and rehabilitation for Community based offenders as well as AwarenessTraining for those most likely to be at risk of becoming a victim.
Sensitive Security Training and Development aims to Motivate, Focus, Identify Causes and then Provide Options. In short, addressing the issue and "TURNING IT AROUND". This can be useful both to the long term unemployed, young offenders and also to those at risk of becoming victims of crime.
Through its experience of working with custodial and community based offenders, Sensitive Security has developed a database holding information on Victim Selection Techniques, Environment and Nature and Behaviour of offenders. This is up-dated regularly and used to provide up-to-the-minute information for our courses.
